American composer and improviser with a wildly diverse remit – his work has veered from scoring live Shakespeare productions to magazine editing, writing academic works, studying percussion, working as music director for kids TV series “the Twisted tales Of Felix The Cat” and composing an opera about Emperor Norton. While all this has been going on, Gino has managed to also maintain a prolific musical life, recording with Tom Waits, Anthony Braxton, John Zorn and Terry Riley, amongst many others.
